Hello world!

Well I’ve been wanting to lose weight for some time now, but I keep on finding excuses as to why I cannot right now. It doesn’t make sense, does it? lol

But right now I’m staying in a motel and it’s not easy to start changing my diet. But that’s just another excuse! My saying is, “As long as you can justify something, you will continue to do it!” As of yesterday, I could no longer justify my weight. Right now I’m 6’4″ 263 lbs. Which is 10 lbs. lighter than I thought I was, but still it’s not where I want to be. So, as of yesterday, I made the first step, and I gave up drinking soda. The next step is to get up earlier and do some kind of exercise. My plan is to start with a light exercise and then build my way up. I’m also going to work on changing my diet.

Just a little more about me. I’m not one for boring. If I get bored, I tend to stop doing whatever it is that bores me. The reason that I said that, is because I’m not going to do the same boring stuff everyday. I’m going to try different things, to keep it interesting. Also, I’m planning on buying a basketball and playing for at least a half hour at least three times a week.

When I used to play basketball when I was a kid, I’d feel all my muscles being used. So I’m thinking it will help me with my weight loss.
