100 Push Ups A Day

Saturday I started 100 Push-Ups a day for 30 days. I’ve done this challenge or workout in the past and had awesome results.

Since I’m over 300 lbs and I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder, I’m currently unable to do a regular push up, so I’m currently doing them standing up and pressing off a wall.

Today is Day 3, my arms are feeling different, and I seem to have more energy.

Sunday morning, I finally decided to try and cut more sugar out of my diet and I bought some Truvia brown sugar. With the Truvia brown sugar, I put one teaspoon into my hot tea, instead of 3 teaspoons of regular sugar. With Truvia brown sugar having 70% fewer calories, I’m hoping that it helps me lose my sugar cravings. Last night I added about half a teaspoon to some unsweetened ice tea and it sweetened it up just enough for me. One thing I like about Truvia brown sugar is, you can add it to cold liquids and it dissolves.

Also, I’m trying to cut out my nightly sweet snacks, so I bought some pepperonis and ate some with some cheese. So far so good. Since I ate pepperonis and cheese the last two nights, I’ve noticed that I don’t wake-up as hungry. Last night since I was up a little later, I did get a little hungry, so I ate a teaspoonful of peanut butter.

Well that’s all I can think of that I’ve done this weekend, to help improve my diet and health.
