Eating well on a budget

I’m starting to research, “How to eat well on a budget”. From what I’m learning, I’m going to have to go shopping to actually see how much I want my budget to be. I’d like to not spend anymore than $25 a week, but reading different things on the internet, I might have to raise my budget.

I’m used to eating pizza, burgers, fries, and other fried foods. I’m not a fan of vegetables. The vegetables that I like are Spinach, Green beans, and corn. My salad usually consists of, lettuce, cucumbers (sometimes), cheese, bacon bits, and usually Ranch dressing.

One other thing that might make it a little more difficult. I’m not a fish eater, I used to eat it, but I got tired of bones. But I have been trying to get back into eating fish. I’ve tried flounder and so far I like it. lol If you cannot tell yet, I’m a really picky eater.

But I do really like chicken, I like beef too, but I’m going to try and cut red meat out.

So far what my plan is, is to pick at least 5 meats that I like and get 3 of them each week, with most likely chicken each week.

The meats that I’m thinking are
Chicken
Turkey
Pork
Flounder
Shrimp

The other food I still have yet to figure out. Once I go shopping, I will post my shopping list and how much I spend. If you have any suggestions, please post them below in the comments.
